A faculty member in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences was selected as a member of the media committee and rapporteur for a scientific session at an international conference, and also participated with a research paper.

Dr. Rafif Abdulhafiz Al-Riyahi, a faculty member in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Women, University of Basra, was selected as a member of the media committee and rapporteur for one of the scientific sessions at the Third International Conference on Youth and Social Change, held under the theme “Leadership for Justice and Sustainability.” The conference was organized by Al-Massa Foundation for Relief and Development, under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the Syrian Arab Republic and the International University for Science and Scientific Research Development, with broad participation from local and international research and community institutions.

Dr. Al-Riyahi’s selection comes in recognition of her scientific expertise in supporting youth issues and social justice, and her academic and media contributions to promoting cultural and research discourse, particularly in the areas of conscious leadership and sustainable development.

The conference witnessed the distinguished participation of prominent institutions, including the Cultural and Human Knowledge Forum, the Damascus Academy for Training and Community Awareness, the Global Sun Gate Organization, and the Ain Al-Biaa Association, in addition to media sponsorship from the Vision platform. This lent an interactive character to the sessions, reflecting the importance of empowering youth in decision-making.
