University of Basrah Organizes a Training Workshop on the Bologna Process

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah and the supervision of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, a training workshop on the Bologna Process was held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Al-Zahraa Hall in the College of Education for Women.

The workshop was designed for the colleges scheduled to implement the Bologna Process during the current academic year, including the College of Education for Human Sciences, College of Education for Pure Sciences, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, College of Fine Arts, College of Education for Women, and the College of Education – Al-Qurna.

The workshop covered several key topics, including an introduction to the Bologna Process, curriculum requirements, and strategies for ensuring the quality of learning outcomes. It aimed to familiarize participants with the principles and implementation mechanisms of the system in accordance with national and international higher education standards.

The workshop was chaired by Prof. Dr. Shukri Shaker Falih and delivered by a distinguished team of members from the committee responsible for supervising the implementation of the Bologna Process at the University of Basrah.
