The College of Education for Women at the University of Basra organized a cultural seminar entitled "Heroes Glorified by History: Leaders of Victory as a Model."

The seminar aimed to highlight the heroism of the leaders of victory and their role in defending the homeland and instilling the values ​​of sacrifice and national belonging.

The seminar, presented by Ms. Marwa Yasser Siwan (Head of the Continuing Education Unit), Dr. Fadia Yaqoub Yousef, and Ms. Maryam Karim Yakout, included several topics that addressed examples of historical heroism and its impact on building societal awareness.

The seminar concluded with a number of recommendations, most notably strengthening national awareness among students, including topics related to national heroism in cultural activities, and encouraging the organization of seminars that promote the values ​​of sacrifice and loyalty to the homeland.
